According to the police press service, road signs and markings have been updated in the areas adjacent to schools. Police officers from the relevant police units will be on extra duty near schools.
During the increased watch under the slogan "Caution - children", the police will ensure public order and traffic near educational institutions.
“We urge all to comply with anti-epidemic safety standards and traffic rules. We wish you a successful academic year,' the Police said.
The first-graders in Armenia will go to school on September 14, accompanied by one person. The school year for other educational institutions starts on September 15.
Schools will be provided with masks, disinfectants and napkins. The children's temperature will also be taken before classes. -0-
