Import of butter and milk fat to Armenia rose by 48.6% in 2012 from 2011 to $21.4 million, according to the National Statistical Service.

YEREVAN, July 11./ARKA/. Import of butter and milk fat to Armenia rose by 48.6% in 2012 from 2011 to $21.4 million, according to the National Statistical Service.

Armenia imported nearly 4,907.4 tons of butter and milk fat last year versus 4,540.2 tons in 2011. 
Butter export from Armenia in 2012 stood at 0.1 tons and valued at $300, and there was no export in 2011.—0-
