Armenia to license import and storage of pyrotechnics
YEREVAN, March 15. /ARKA/. Armenian's parliamentary committee on economic issues approved on Wednesday a set of amendments to the law on licensing, which call for licensing of import, storage, operation and trade of explosives, explosive devices as well as pyrotechnic products.
The amendments were authored by Sisak Gabrielyan, an MP from the ruling Civil Contract party, who said the amendments also set rates of state fees and fines for violating the law.
Gabrielyan said that licensing would allow for more effective oversight measures, as all related processes would be more controllable due to the establishment of basic standards and mandatory requirements for issuing licenses.
