Armenian bookmakers fined about 1 billion drams for sending out advertisements

YEREVAN, March 19. /ARKA/. Armenian Commission for the Protection of Competition has fined bookmakers a total of about 1 billion drams for sending advertising messages.
According to the press service of the regulator, KABARKO LLC, DIGITALINE, GOOD SOFT, and SOFT CONSTRUCTION CJSC were fined 363.3 million drams, 298.7 million drams, 20.2 million drams, and 301.4 million drams, respectively, for unfair competition, including misleading the public.
“The examination revealed that the marketing messages sent to citizens were of an advertising nature, sent without the direct consent of the citizens. These messages did not contain the required information regarding age restrictions and potential losses,” the statement reads ($1 = 391.56 drams).
