Armenian law enforcement authorities will reveal all the details of an attack in Erebuni Plaza Hotel in Yerevan today, Hayk Konjoryan, MP from the My Step faction, said from the rostrum of the National Assembly.

According to a police statement, an armed man, who attacked today the Erebuni Plaza Hotel in downtown Yerevan, surrendered his weapons and later himself to police.
Ashot Aharonyan, a spokesman for the Police, told reporters that no person suffered in the attack. Aharonyan also said that the attacker was alone.
"Armenian law enforcement authorities are taking measures to reveal all the details and circumstances of the incident. The Armenian authorities reaffirm that there is no place for violence in our country, that any manifestation of it, regardless of the reasons, has no justification. The Armenian authorities have an unbending will to build a non-violent society, "said Konjoryan.
He said the subsequent speculative statements made on social networks and some media outlets trying to give the incident a political coloring are futile. -0-
