Bakery of well-known supermarket chain in Armenia closed due to unsanitary conditions

Inspections conducted by the Food Safety Inspectorate at "Tsiran Market" LLC (Kotayk Region, Abovyan) revealed that the company's bakery was operating in violation of sanitary and hygienic standards, according to a report from the regulator’s press service.
YEREVAN, January 24. /ARKA/. Inspections conducted by the Food Safety Inspectorate at "Tsiran Market" LLC (Kotayk Region, Abovyan) revealed that the company's bakery was operating in violation of sanitary and hygienic standards, according to a report from the regulator’s press service.
Specifically:
- The ceiling design in the warehouse of the production building did not prevent the accumulation of dirt, the growth of mold, or the risk of particles falling from the ceiling.
- The bathroom door opened directly into the production area where food products were being prepared.
As a result of the findings, the head of the regulator has decided to suspend the bakery’s operations, with a deadline set for addressing the violations.
