Motor roads in Armenia open despite heavy snowfall

Despite a heavy snowfall almost all motor roads are open in Armenia for all kinds of transport, the Armenian territorial administration and emergency ministry reports.
YEREVAN, December 3. /ARKA/. Despite a heavy snowfall almost all motor roads are open in Armenia for all kinds of transport, the Armenian territorial administration and emergency ministry reports.
The ministry warns that Sotk-Karvachar road and Vardenyats pass are heavy going and advised derivers to take these roads only when it strictly necessary.
There is also ice slick on Yerevan-Sisyan motor road and fog on Tigranashen mountain spiral road.
According to the information received from Georgia’s interior ministry’s emergency department, Stepantsminda-Lars, the only road between Armenia and Russia, is closed for all types of vehicles. ---0---
