Notorious General Manvel detained in Echmiadzin

YEREVAN, June 18. /ARKA/. General Manvel Grigoryan, who is also a member of the Armenian National Assembly; Arthur Asatryan, a criminal lord known under Don Pipo alias, and four others, who are Russian citizens, were taken Saturday into law enforcement forces’ custody.
The national security service officers searched the territories belonging to Manvel Grigoryan and found guns and armament.
They also found a collection of expensive cars and a private zoo here.
One finding aroused a strong public outcry – there was also the aid raised yet in 2016 for soldiers of the four-day April war in Artsakh.
According to the National Security Service’s press office, the parliament speaker was immediately informed about the detention.
The press office says more detailed information will be released later.
Arthur Asatryan, the second detainee, is suspected of kidnapping three people with committing violence and the use of guns, illegal storage of arms and explosions. Four other people, who are Russian citizens, were detained as well within the same criminal case. --0---
