Armenia's Weather Service said today that short rains with thunderstorms and possibly with hails are expected on June 1-2 afternoon in some parts of the country. No rains are predicted for May 31 and June 3-4.
YEREVAN, May 31. /ARKA/. Armenia's Weather Service said today that short rains with thunderstorms and possibly with hails are expected on June 1-2 afternoon in some parts of the country. No rains are predicted for May 31 and June 3-4.
The wind will be southwest at a speed of 5-10 meters per second. During thunderstorms gusts of wind can reach 18-23 meters per second. The air temperature will not change significantly.
In Yerevan, in the next five days, the daytime temperature will fluctuate within the range of 31-36 degrees Celsius.
On June 2 the temperature in the Syunik region is expected to grow to 36-38 degrees. -0-
