Football Federation of Armenia filed a protest to FIFA as Bulgaria’s and Armenia’s national teams played a match of the 2014 World Cup qualifying campaign, Novosti-Armenia reports.

YEREVAN, September 13. /ARKA/. Football Federation of Armenia filed a protest to FIFA as Bulgaria’s and Armenia’s national teams played a match of the 2014 World Cup qualifying campaign, Novosti-Armenia reports.
Bulgarians defeated the national football team of Armenia 1:0.
A number of Bulgarian media outlets reported earlier that the Armenian side had directed complaints to FIFA condemning the behavior of the Bulgarian fans who had been addressing the Armenian players as “Gypsies!” during the match.
Also, according to some media, Football Federation of Armenia has filed another protest against the referee who showed a red card to two Armenian players.
On its side, Armenia’s Football Federation clarified that it had issued protests only against those cases which are controversial to football rules.
It also mentioned that there is no need to elaborate on the details of protests as they will be discussed by FIFA.
Armenia is listed in B group with Italy, Denmark, Czech Republic, Bulgaria and Malta.
After two qualifying games Armenia gained 3 points. Italy and Bulgaria have 4 points, Denmark and Czech Republic- 1 point. --0--
