The Armenian national football team remained the 77th, with 449 points, in the latest FIFA rankings released on Thursday.
YEREVAN, May 7. /ARKA/. The Armenian national football team remained the 77th, with 449 points, in the latest FIFA rankings released on Thursday.
Armenia’s opponents in the group I ranked as follows – Portugal 7th, Denmark 29th, Serbia 44th and Albania 57th.
The top ten in the rankings remained unchanged from the previous revision, and Germany is still the leader.
FIFA rankings from May 7, 2015:
1. Germany;
2. Argentine;
3. Belgium;
4. Columbia;
5. Brazil;
6. The Netherlands;
7. Portugal;
8. Uruguay;
9. Switzerland;
10. Spain.
The Armenian national is the last, together with Serbians, in the current rankings, with one point each from four and three matches respectively.
Portuguese top the Group I list with nine points after four games. Albanians (3 matches) and Danes (4 matches) scored four points each.
The FIFA rankings were first introduced in 1993 and are based on team results for the last four years. The next update of the rankings is to be released on June 4. –0--
