YEREVAN, May 27. /ARKA/. Armenian capital city of Yerevan was among top foreign destinations that Russians chose for vacation from March to May, according to OneTwoTrip travel planning service.

Turkey's Istanbul turned out to be the most popular foreign city this spring accounting for 8.0% of bookings, followed by Dubai (UAE) and Minsk (Belarus), where 6.3% and 4.4% of tourists vacationed respectively.

Yerevan (2.6%), Shanghai (2.4%), Tashkent (2.3%), Tbilisi (2.2%), Paris (2.1%), Beijing (1.9%) and Bangkok (1.6%) were also in the top. -0-

In April 2025, 123,705 tourists visited Armenia compared to 163,970 tourists in March 2024, the Tourism Committee reported.
