Armenia’s capital Yerevan is one of the five most popular destinations across the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), a loose union of several former Soviet republics, for tourists to visit this autumn, according to Tour Stat Russian agency.
YEREVAN, September 20. /ARKA/. Armenia’s capital Yerevan is one of the five most popular destinations across the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), a loose union of several former Soviet republics, for tourists to visit this autumn, according to Tour Stat Russian agency.
The top ten most popular tourist cities in the CIS this autumn are Minsk (Belarus), Astana (Kazakhstan), Baku (Azerbaijan), Yerevan (Armenia), Almaty (Kazakhstan), Tashkent (Uzbekistan), Ashgabat (Turkmenistan), Kiev (Ukraine), Chisinau (Moldova) and Bishkek (Kyrgyzstan). The rating is based on the online bookings data for accommodation facilities by tourists.
According to TourStat, tourists visit Yerevan in the autumn on average for 3 days spending here $67 per day for living. The most inexpensive cities in the CIS for tourists are Bishkek and Chisinau, and the most expensive city is Astana. -0-
