Labor and Social Affairs minister specifies new amounts of childcare benefits

Armenian Labor and Social Affairs Minister Narek Mkrtchyan specified today new amounts of childcare allowances, which from January 1, 2023 will be paid to mothers (parents) not only in rural, but also in urban communities.

Unemployment in Armenia decreased by 1.5%

Armenia's unemployment rate dropped to 13% in the second quarter of 2022, Labor and Social Affairs Minister Narek Mkrtchyan said at a government session on Thursday. He noted that the unemployment rate was 14.5 percent in 2021.
