Armenia among top 6 car suppliers to Russia
Armenia ranked fifth in the list of the main suppliers of new cars to Russia.

YEREVAN, November 13. /ARKA/. Some 1.6% of brand new cars imported to Russia in the first 10 months of 2023 came from Armenia, Interfax reported.
Armenia ranked fifth in the list of the main suppliers of new cars to Russia. The list was topped by China, which accounted for about 80% of all deliveries. It was followed by Kazakhstan (7.5%), Kyrgyzstan (5.8%), Belarus (2.5%), and the United Arab Emirates (1%).
In terms of used cars, exported to Russia Armenia ranked second with a 14.3% share. The main supplier of such cars were Japan with 54% share, followed by Belarus (11.3%), South Korea (7.2%), Kyrgyzstan (4.6%) and Germany (2.9%).
In general, car deliveries to Russia in the first 10 months increased 2.8 times year-on-year, up to 889,400 cars, according to Avtostat analytical center.-0-
