YEREVAN, January 12. /ARKA/. The Armenian government approved today a decision designed to simplify production of alcoholic beverages.

In particular, it has revoked the requirement for obtaining a license for production of beer, wine, alcoholic beverages made of apple, other fruits and honey, liqueurs and other beverages with alcohol content up to 9%, sale and import of unbottled cognac (brandy) in the amount starting from 100 thousand liters.

Besides, as he noted, the state duty on production of whiskey, rum and gin will be reduced from the current 15 million drams to 3 million drams. ($1 - 395.96 drams). --0--
