Armenian minister of economy receives Iraqi transport minister

On February 27, Armenian Minister of Economy Karen Chshmaritian received a delegation headed by Baqir Jabr al-Zubeidi, Minister of Transport of Iraq.
YEREVAN, February 27. / ARKA /. On February 27, Armenian Minister of Economy Karen Chshmaritian received a delegation headed by Baqir Jabr al-Zubeidi, Minister of Transport of Iraq.
Minister Karen Chshmaritian congratulated the guest on the first flight of “Iraq Airways” to Armenia and expressed confidence that the successful cooperation in the filed of aviation would lead to effective bilateral trade and economic collaboration.
Minister of Transport of Iraq Mr. Baqir Jabr al-Zubeidi thanked for warm reception and stressed the importance of meetings of two countries business communities in order to develop cooperation in the field of trade.
In this context Minister Chshmaritian invited Iraqi businessmen to visit Armenia and take part in an exhibition named “Made in Armenia Expo 2015” to be held on 26-28th of April, 2015 in Yerevan, where two side would be able to establish business ties and work together in the future. Mr. Chshmaritian also presented the business climate and export destinations.
At the end of the meeting an agreement was reached to pass the Investment package of Armenia and other relevant information regarding investment and business environment to business community of Iraq via the Ambassador of Armenia to Iraq.-0-
