Grant Thornton Armenia and HR-Association conduct employer rating survey
YEREVAN, November 29. /ARKA/. To expand the framework of their long-term cooperation, Grant Thornton Armenia and HR-Association signed a Memorandum aimed at increasing the role and efficiency of human resource management in Armenia as well as stimulating cooperation and effective communications within the HR community, Grant Thornton Armenia press service reported.
Grant Thornton Armenia and HR -Association have implemented a joint employer rating study, for the first time in Armenia, involving Armenian students.
The purpose of this project called "հաrate" is to give special importance to the employer rating. Given the changing environment of the Armenian labor market, as well as high competition in attracting and preserving young talent, the employers pay special attention to their brand, its public perception and attractiveness.
"հայrate» provides an opportunity to find out how targeted employers' strategies and programs are in this area among students.
"We shared our idea of identifying the most attractive student employer with the HR -Association of Armenia. I am pleased that our organizations came together immediately to implement this and other initiatives. Given the constant competition among employers for young talents and the flow of information, employers often do not have the opportunity to make their brand perception measurable", said Director of Grant Thornton Consulting Gurgen Hakobyan.
By launching this initiative, he said, organizations are also ensuring that they are applying global best practices.
"First of all, we want to encourage employers to pay attention not only to the image of the organization as a whole, but also to their perception as an attractive employer, especially among young people, and the need to take really effective measures in this direction," he said.
According to President of HR-Association Arpi Karapetyan, the problem of employer branding is one of the topics widely discussed in the business world.
"Properly developed branding plays an important role in attracting necessary talents to the company, as well as in obtaining high positions in the labor market. The հաrate initiative is designed to highlight these issues and to recognize and value employers who have become truly attractive as a result of their successful programs and policies in our job market," she said.
Students from Armenia's leading universities participated in the survey and had the opportunity to express their opinions about organizations in various markets during the month. The results of the survey will be summed up on December 10.
