Intercity microbuses’ services in Armenia have become not profitable, since the monopolist taxi companies owned by criminals and local officials strike hard at them, Zhoghovurd (People) reports.

YEREVAN, November 21. /ARKA/. Intercity microbuses’ services in Armenia have become not profitable, since the monopolist taxi companies owned by criminals and local officials strike hard at them, Zhoghovurd (People) reports.
According to the newspaper, the country’s transport, communication and information technology ministry prefers not to interfere in the situation. As a result, companies, bulk of which have taken loans from banks, declare themselves bankrupts or work without profits.
It has become known that Yerevan-Ijevan and Yerevan-Noyemberyan routs are no longer served by microbuses. --0----
