Some 9,000 real estate transactions concluded in January

The number of real estate transactions in January this year slashed to 9, 742 from 22, 393 in 2011 December, according to a report released by State Real estate Cadastre Committee of Armenia.

YEREVAN, May 2, /ARKA/. The number of real estate transactions in January this year slashed to 9, 742 from 22, 393 in 2011 December, according to a report released by State Real estate Cadastre Committee of Armenia.
The largest number of transactions were concluded in Yerevan which accounted for 35.9% of all transactions and the smallest number in Vayots Dzor (2.3%.) The Kotayk province accounted for 11.6%, 9.2% of all transactions were made in Lori province, 6.2% in Gegharkunik, 7% in Armavir and 6.2% in Shirak.
According to the numbers, 38.7% of all transactions were sale and purchase of homes, 14.8% were primary registration of real estate. Also 15% were inheritances and 7.2% were rent transactions. No real estate privatization deals were reported in the reporting period of time. -0-
