Armenia’s national water and sewage operator, Veolia Jur, a subsidiary of France’s Veolia Generale des Eaux, said it has switched to the remote work mode as part of the efforts to prevent the spread of coronavirus.

YEREVAN, March 16. /ARKA/. Armenia’s national water and sewage operator, Veolia Jur, a subsidiary of France’s Veolia Generale des Eaux, said it has switched to the remote work mode as part of the efforts to prevent the spread of coronavirus.

‘We considers it expedient, among other measures, to limit direct contacts with our customers until the situation with coronavirus stabilizes,” the company said in a press release.

The company urged subscribers and consumers to visit customer service offices only in case of emergency, if the problem arose and is urgent and requires a personal presence.

Water meter readings can also be reported by registering on veolia.am by sending a photo with the readings via the Viber application to a service inspector.
