Armavia to operate six weekly flights to Moscow

Armenia’s national carrier Armavia said it will increase the number of regular flights to Moscow from current five to six a week.
YEREVAN, October 4, /ARKA/. Armenia’s national carrier Armavia said it will increase the number of regular flights to Moscow from current five to six a week. The company said in a press release that beginning from October 10 Armavia will operate three weekly flights to Moscow Domodedovo airport (up form current two) and three other flights to Vnukovo airport.

Armavia was established in 1996. In 2005 its all shares were purchased by Mika Ltd of Mikhail Baghdasarov. The company operates 102 flights a week to 35 destinations in 20 countries. In 2009 it flew 700,000 passengers. The company’s fleet comprises 9 aircrafts- А320-3, А319-3, CRJ-200, YAK-42-VIP.-0-
