YEREVAN, December 22. /АРКА/. Kamo Areyan, an adviser to the mayor of Yerevan, announced that a new natural gas distribution station will be established in 2026.

"In 2025, we approved the program for building a new gas supply network. This program encompasses 12 streets across three administrative districts: Nork, Nork Marash, and Erebuni, along with parts of Nubarashen," Areyan noted during a working meeting at city hall on Monday.

Currently, work has been completed on nine streets, totaling 17.1 km in length.

"Efforts are ongoing in Vardashen. The program will extend into 2026, which will include the Nor Harberd district with a distribution network spanning 50 km, covering the streets of Khachik Dashtents, Gurgena Maari, and Nubarashen Highway" Areyan explained.

He also shared that the company "Gazprom Armenia" has proposed a notably ambitious plan for 2026, which includes 45 streets across eight administrative districts, with a total length of 31 km..-0-
