YEREVAN, June 1. /ARKA/. Armenia is considering subsidizing transportation and customs costs for exports to the EU, stated RA Minister of Economy Gevorg Papoyan.
"Quality and production volume issues have been resolved. Currently, the main issue under discussion remains subsidizing transportation costs in the long term," Papoyan noted in an interview with CivilNet.
He added that the discussion concerns support for the transportation of products to the EU over the next few years, as well as subsidizing customs duties.
"Armenian farmers may be given the opportunity to receive similar support as farmers in Europe. This will significantly expand their opportunities," Papoyan said.
