Since 2018, passenger traffic from Armenia to the EU has increased by about 400%, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan reported, citing EU data.
YEREVAN, January 10. /ARKA/. Since 2018, passenger traffic from Armenia to the EU has increased by about 400%, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan reported, citing EU data.
"According to data for the first six days of 2025, the number of passengers arriving in Armenia by air increased by 19.8% compared to the same period in 2024. Overall, air passenger traffic has increased by nearly the same amount," Pashinyan wrote on his Telegram channel.
The day before, Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure David Khudatyan reported that as of December 25 of last year, Armenian airports had served 5,251,932 passengers and transported 41,470 tons of cargo by air.
