About Armenia-UAE Trade
According to the Armenian State Statistics Service, Armenia's trade turnover with the UAE exceeded $2.13 billion in 2025, a 60% decline year-on-year. Armenia's exports exceeded $2.05 billion (a 60.9% decline), while imports exceeded $425 million (a 4.9% decline).
About the "Crossroads of Peace" project
The Armenian regional communications project "Crossroads of Peace" was presented by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan in November 2023 at the Silk Road Forum in Tbilisi. The key idea of the project is to launch (reopen) and develop transport links between Armenia, Georgia, Turkey, Azerbaijan, and Iran through the use of roads, railways, cables, pipelines, and power lines.
This will create a short and efficient route between the Caspian and Mediterranean Seas, as well as a route from the Persian Gulf to the Black Sea.
According to Armenia, all infrastructure operates under the sovereignty and jurisdiction of the countries through which it passes; each country implements border and customs control within its own territory, ensuring the safe movement of goods, vehicles, and people.
