YEREVAN, January 21. /ARKA/. Armenia's state budget revenues increased by 306 billion drams in 2025 compared to 2024, while expenditures increased by 350 billion drams. This was announced by Finance Minister Vahe Hovhannisyan at a final press conference.

"We continue our policy of increasing capital expenditures. These expenditures increased by 151 billion drams. Capital expenditures for the Ministry of Defense increased by 86 billion drams, reaching 419 billion drams, or over $1 billion," Hovhannisyan said.

Earlier, the State Revenue Committee of the Republic reported that Armenia would generate 2.72 trillion drams in tax revenues and customs duties in 2025, exceeding the 2024 figure by more than 334.3 billion drams, or 14%.

Actual tax and duty revenues amounted to 100.2% of the 2.720.3 billion drams set by the 2025 state budget law, and 99.8% of the 2.73 trillion drams revised during the year.

At the same time, actual tax and duty revenues also exceeded the projected figures for 2025, as reflected in the state medium-term expenditure program for 2026–2028 and in the budget message-explanatory note to the 2026 budget. ($1 - 379.21 drams).
