YEREVAN, October 20. /ARKA/. From January to September 2025, Yerevan collected 61.8 billion drams of the planned 65.5 billion drams of its own budget revenue. This was reported by David Hakobyan, Acting Head of the Revenue Accounting and Collection Department of the Yerevan City Hall.
"The performance rate was 94.3%, the shortfall amounted to 3.7 billion drams, and the increase in own revenue compared to the same period last year amounted to more than 15 billion drams," he noted at a meeting at City Hall on Monday.
According to Hakobyan, the main reason for the failure to meet the plan was the insufficient collection of revenue from transportation fees. Yerevan Mayor Tigran Avinyan instructed district heads to intensify work as the year draws to a close.
