A presentation of an interim survey of labor migration from Armenia for 2005-2007 is to be held in Yerevan on July 3, 2007.

YEREVAN, July 3. /ARKA/. A presentation of an interim survey of labor migration from Armenia for 2005-2007 is to be held in Yerevan on July 3, 2007. The International Center for Human Development reports that discussions of Armenia’s migration legislation are to be held during the presentation.

The discussions will be held under the program “Facilitation of elaboration of migration policy and relevant potential of Armenia” being implemented by the British Council, Migration Agency, RA Ministry of Territorial Administration, and International Center for Human Development, with the assistance of the European Commission.

The survey was conducted under the OSCE-implemented program of migration management in Armenia. The program envisages the establishment of cooperation between organizations dealing with the sphere’s management and development. P.T. –0--
