Negotiations on facilitation of visa regime between Armenia and European Union will start in September, said Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandyan during the joint press-conference with Foreign Minister of Sweden Carl Bildt on Tuesday.

YEREVAN. June 14. /ARKA/. Negotiations on facilitation of visa regime between Armenia and European Union will start in September, said Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandyan during the joint press-conference with Foreign Minister of Sweden Carl Bildt on Tuesday.

“I hope that the negotiations will go ahead rapidly” said Nalbandyan.

It is envisaged to facilitate visa regime for 16 categories of people, including scientists and sportsmen. “In future, we plan to fully facilitate visa system”, he said without mentioning the details and data. -0-
