Armenian and Russian Defense ministries’ staff talks start today in Yerevan

A delegation of Russian armed forces have arrived in Armenia on Tuesday to participate in staff talks between working groups of chief headquarters of Russian and Armenian armed forces, slated in Yerevan from 23 to 27 August.
YEREVAN, August 23. / ARKA /. A delegation of Russian armed forces have arrived in Armenia on Tuesday to participate in staff talks between working groups of chief headquarters of Russian and Armenian armed forces, slated in Yerevan from 23 to 27 August, the press service of the Armenian defense ministry reported today.
The Russian delegation is headed by associate professor of the Military Academy of the General Staff of Russian Army, Major-General Alexander Rogovoi.
"During the visit, the sides will discuss issues relating to detailing of the documents governing the joint use of the joint grouping of Armenian and Russian forces in Armenia, strategic planning, creation of automated command and control system and automation systems to control air defense troops," the ministry said in a statement. -0-
