Acting Press Secretary, RA Foreign Office, Vladimir Karapetyan reported that the Armenian Foreign Minister is to hold a meeting with his Georgian counterpart Gela Bezhuashvili.
YEREVAN, July 19. /ARKA/. RA Foreign Minister Vardan Oskanyan is to be on a working visit to Georgia on July 25-27, 2007.
Acting Press Secretary, RA Foreign Office, Vladimir Karapetyan reported that the Armenian Foreign Minister is to hold a meeting with his Georgian counterpart Gela Bezhuashvili.
The sides are to discuss issues of bilateral cooperation, regional problems, as well as developments and conflicts in the region.
Minister Oskanyan is to inform his Georgian counterpart of the negotiations for the Nagorno-Karabakh settlement. In his turn, Minister Bezhuashvili is to present the situation on South Ossetia, and official Tbilisi’s approaches to this problem, as well as the situation in Abkhazia.
Karapetyan pointed out that Minister Oskanyan accompanied by his Georgian counterpart, is to leave for Batumi, to examine the designs of the building of Armenia’s Consulate proposed by the Georgian side. P.T. –0--
