A number of statesmen and public figures of Armenia will be awarded by the National Committee of Public Awards of the Russian Federation for the services and contribution to the development of friendship and cooperation between Russia and Armenia.

YEREVAN, October 3. /ARKA/. A number of statesmen and public figures of Armenia will be awarded by the National Committee of Public Awards of the Russian Federation for the services and contribution to the development of friendship and cooperation between Russia and Armenia.

The awarding ceremony is to be held on October 4 in the Russian Embassy to Armenia. The awards will be handed by the Ambassador of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Armenia Nikolay Pavlov and the President of the National Committee for Public Awards of the Russian Federation V.G. Shevchenko.

Among the recipients of awards are Armenian Defense Minister Michael Harutiunian, Prosecutor General Aghvan Hovsepian, Mayor of Yerevan Ervand Zakharian, Head of Administration of the Armenian Ministry of Science and Education S.A.Minasian, Chief of Government Security Service, first Deputy Chief of Frontier Department of Russia in Armenia V. Zolotukhin, MP and Chairman of “Prospering Armenia” party Gagik Tsarukian, President of “MIKA Limited” company Michael Baghdasarov and General Director of “Armavia” Air Company Norayr Belluyan.
