Arshavir Garamyan has been appointed Prosecutor General of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) at a plenary session of the NKR Parliament in Stepanakert.

STEPANAKERT, December 19. /ARKA/. Arshavir Garamyan has been appointed Prosecutor General of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) at a plenary session of the NKR Parliament in Stepanakert.

As a result of secret ballot, Garamyan was appointed by 24 to three. This is the first appointment in conformity with the procedure established by the NKR Constitution – on presentation of the NKR President.

Before being appointed NKR Prosecutor General, Arshavir Garamyan was Chief of the NKR Police. P.T. –0--
