OSCE Chairman-in-Office, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Finland Ilkka Kanerva is planning to visit Armenia on February 25.
YEREVAN, February 18. /ARKA/. OSCE Chairman-in-Office, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Finland Ilkka Kanerva is planning to visit Armenia on February 25.
“This visit is another proof that the region and the settlement of its conflicts are of great importance,” the Armenian Foreign Ministry quoted Special Envoy of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office Heikki Talvitie as saying during his meeting with Armenian Foreign Minister Vardan Oskanyan.
Talvitie said that the OSCE Chairman-in-Office will keep the focus on the region’s development. The parties also spoke of the process of the Karabakh settlement and stressed the necessity to proceed with the negotiations on the basis of the proposals. -0-
