Armenian President Appoints Three Ministers from ARF Dashnaktsutyun

After ministers of education, labor and agriculture resigned last week, RA President Serge Sargsian yesterday appointed three new ministers from the Armenian Revolutionary Federation Dashnaktsutyun.
YEREVAN, June 3. /ARKA/. After ministers of education, labor and agriculture resigned last week, RA President Serge Sargsian yesterday appointed three new ministers from the Armenian Revolutionary Federation Dashnaktsutyun (ARF-D).
According to the presidential decree, Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Aghvan Vardanyan, Minister of Education and Science Levon Mkrtchyan and Minister of Agriculture David Lokyan were relieved of their posts on June 2, 2008.
By another decree, the labor minister’s slot went Arsen Hambartsumyan. Spartak Seyranyan was appointed RA Minister of Education and Science, and Aramais Grigoryan got the job of the Minister of Agriculture.
Seyranyan was formerly Chief Editor of the Yerkir Weekly belonging to ARF-D.
Hambartsumyan worked on the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, and Grigoryan is an MP.
The three Ministers are members to ARF-D coalition party.
Their predecessors resigned on May 29, as they had been elected members of the ARF-D Bureau.–0--
