ARF/Dashnaktsutyun calls for all-Armenian action of disobedience

YEREVAN, June 27. /ARKA/. The opposition must rally the people to hold an all-Armenian action of disobedience, Ishkhan Saghatelyan, a representative of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation/Dashnaktsutyun's Supreme Body and an MP from the opposition Hayastan alliance, said Tuesday.

"We are now discussing the issue of holding an all-Armenian rally in defense of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh). We need to be better prepared to fix a final result," Saghatelyan told reporters in front of the EU Office in Yerevan, where a 24-hour sit-in in support of Artsakh is taking place.

Speaking to reporters in late May, Saghatelyan said the Armenian Revolutionary Federation/ Dashnaktsutyun party “will do everything” to prevent the 'planned surrender of Nagorno-Karabakh to Azerbaijan.'

Dashnaktsutyun has been accusing Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and his government of not being legitimate and therefore not reflecting the will of the Armenian people. According to the party, any effort to get rid of Pashinyan and his administration is legitimate. -0-
