YEREVAN, June 17. /ARKA/. Armenian Ambassador to Iran Grigor Hakobyan discussed the simplification of customs procedures with the head of the Iranian Customs Service, Foroud Asgari.
At the meeting, held on June 15 in Tehran, the parties also discussed the further expansion of trade and economic cooperation between Armenia and Iran, as well as steps aimed at facilitating trade.
The meeting participants discussed the operation of the Meghri-Norduz border crossings, improvements to border procedures, and ways to increase the efficiency of cargo transportation.
In this context, the importance of close cooperation between the customs authorities of the two countries was emphasized.
