YEREVAN, April 7. /ARKA/. Armenia unilaterally provided 972 maps of minefields to Azerbaijan without preconditions on June 12, July 3, October 19, November 1 and November 29, 2021, Armenian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Ani Badalyan said.

“Moreover, abiding by the principles of cooperation in humanitarian issues, Armenia has developed new maps of minefields through surveys and handed them over to Azerbaijan in early 2024,” Badalyan told Factor-TV.

She noted that Azerbaijan has constantly questioned the accuracy of these maps, despite repeated statements by the Armenian side that there are no “better or more accurate” maps.

“Armenia, as before, is ready to verify the accuracy of these maps with the involvement of international experts,” she said. 'BR>' We would like to add that the International Court of Justice has unequivocally rejected the demand for an interim measure against Armenia with Azerbaijan accusing Armenia of planting mines," Badalyan said.-0-
