Armenia is sending 400 tons of humanitarian aid to Artsakh

YEREVAN, July 26. /ARKA/. Armenia will send 400 tons of humanitarian aid (food and medicines) to Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh), Deputy Chief of Prime Minister’s Staff Taron Chakhoyan said.
"Today two dozen trucks will deliver 400 tons of humanitarian aid to Kornidzor ( a village in the southern Armenian region of Syunik, bordering Azerbaijan), from where the aid is to be delivered to the population of Nagorno-Karabakh by Russian peacekeepers,’ Chakhoyan said in a Facebook post, reminding that Artsakh has been under Azerbaijani blockade for 227 days.
The decision to send humanitarian aid to Artsakh was made by a government task force on Tuesday. It was set up by the prime minister to respond to the humanitarian crisis in Artsakh.-0-
