Armenia signs convention about protection of migrants’ rights

Armenian foreign minister Edward Nalbandyan who is in the Untied States for an official visit signed Thursday the international convention about protection of rights of migrants and their families in UN Headquarters in New York, the press office of Armenian foreign ministry reported.

Armenian foreign minister Edward Nalbandyan who is in the Untied States for an official visit signed Thursday the international convention about protection of rights of migrants and their families in UN Headquarters in New York, the press office of Armenian foreign ministry reported.
On the same day Nalbandyan presided over a non-official meeting of foreign ministers of Black Sea Economic Cooperation Organization (BSECO) member states.
The sides discussed BSECO action plan for 2013-2015, including better regional economic cooperation, transparency in BSECO operations and measures within Armenia’s chairmanship in the organization.
The meeting participants also touched upon the forthcoming high-level meeting on information and communication technologies in Yerevan scheduled for October 4.
Armenia took over BSECO chairmanship on June 21 for the period ending on December 31 2013.–0--
