Armenia will take its EEU membership very seriously, Armenia’s president Serzh Sargsyan said in Minsk, after the signing of the treaty on Armenia’s accession to the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU).
YEREVAN, October 13 . /ARKA/. Armenia will take its EEU membership very seriously, Armenia’s president Serzh Sargsyan said in Minsk, after the signing of the treaty on Armenia’s accession to the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU).
Sargsyan thanked the leaders of the member-countries for their political support to the accession process.
The Armenian president expressed hopes that the heads of EEU-member countries will help have the treaty ratified in the national parliaments by the end of the year so that Armenia can start from January 1.
The treaty on Armenia’s accession to the EEU was signed in Minsk on Friday. –0--
