YEREVAN, March 6. /ARKA/. Armenian Foreign Minister Ara Ayvazyan had a telephone conversation with Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif on Saturday, the press service of the Armenian Foreign Ministry reported.

It said the foreign ministers exchanged views on a set of issues of reciprocal interest. Satisfaction was expressed with the dynamics of the development of relations based on centuries-old friendship. The sides confirmed their readiness to strengthen them, including through the intensification of political dialogue at different levels.

The interlocutors spoke also about regional security and stability, emphasizing the role of coordinated interaction in addressing new regional challenges. -0-
