Armenia’s president Serzh Sargsyan offered condolences to the chairman of China’s People Republic Su Tsinpin on the terrorism act in Xinjiang autonomous region of China.
YEREVAN, May 26. /ARKA/. Armenia’s president Serzh Sargsyan offered condolences to the chairman of China’s People Republic Su Tsinpin on the terrorism act in Xinjiang autonomous region of China.
The president expressed his support and compassion for the families of the killed and wished fast recover to the wounded.
The president said he condemned any terrorism and expressed confidence the criminals will be punished.
Thirty-one people are dead and more than 90 injured after attackers drove their cars into an open-air market in China and hurled explosives out the windows, Dailymail reported.
The attack occurred Thursday morning at 7.50am local time in the city of Urumqi, the capital of the volatile Xinjiang region, and has been described as a 'serious violent terrorist incident' by China's Ministry of Public Security. Two 4x4 vehicles rammed into shoppers in an open market, Xinhua news agency reported, citing witness reports. –0--
