Serzh Sargsyan, Armenian president, visited the Public TV Company on Tuesday in connection with its 60th anniversary, the presidential press office reported on Wednesday.
YEREVAN, September 28. /ARKA/. Serzh Sargsyan, Armenian president, visited the Public TV Company on Tuesday in connection with its 60th anniversary, the presidential press office reported on Wednesday.
Sargsyan toured the company’s divisions and heard the report of the executive director. They talked about The Best Singer new program, which was strongly criticized by public in recent days.
Ruben Jangiryan, chairman of the TV Company’s board, that this program will present music of various genres – folk, classic, jazz etc.
He said the TV Company will keep its eye on people’s reaction and will try to meet their expectations.
Sargsyan, on his side, stressed the importance of interaction between television and viewers pointing out the necessity of constant improvement.
He handed medals and gave titles to some persons working for the Public TV Company. --0---
