Armenian President visits Russian Embassy on Russia Day

Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan visited Wednesday the Embassy of the Russian Federation and congratulated Ambassador Ivan Volynkin on Russia Day, the President’s office reported.
YEREVAN, June 12.ARKA/. Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan visited Wednesday the Embassy of the Russian Federation and congratulated Ambassador Ivan Volynkin on Russia Day, the President’s office reported.
On the occasion of the holiday, Sargsyan also addressed congratulatory messages to President Vladimir Putin and Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev.
In his congratulatory message to Putin, President Sargsyan highlighted Armenian-Russian partnership is developing based upon centuries-long friendship between the both peoples, and the intention of the both countries to set a mutually beneficial cooperation.
In his message to Medvedev, Armenian President noted this day reflects some fundamental reforms in all spheres of Russian society, which started 20
years ago and contributed to the gradual development of the country.
Sargsyan wished to Russian leaders and people prosperity, peace and further development. -0-
