Armenian Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan has appointed Arsen Mkrtchyan the first deputy justice minister, the press office of the government reported on Thursday.

YEREVAN, June 26. /ARKA/. Armenian Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan has appointed Arsen Mkrtchyan the first deputy justice minister, the press office of the government reported on Thursday. 

The premier has also issued another decree dismissing Mkrtchyan predecessor, Grigor Muradyan.  

Arsen Mkrtchyan was born in 1973 in Yerevan. In 1996, he graduated from the law department of Gladzor University. 

Since 2000 Mkrtchyan has worked on various positions, including the head of administrations at the appeal, cassation and economic courts. 

He was the head of the Judicial Department of Armenia in 2007 and 2008 a judge at the Appeal Civil Court from 2008 to 2014. 

In May and June 2014, Mkrtchyan was the Armenian deputy justice minister. --0----
