As of 8:00 PM, when all polling stations closed, 1,476,597 voters, or 58.97% of the total, had cast their ballots in the regular elections to the National Assembly of Armenia, according to Central Election Commission Chairman Vahagn Hovakimyan.
YEREVAN, June 7. /ARKA/. As of 8:00 PM, when all polling stations closed, 1,476,597 voters, or 58.97% of the total, had cast their ballots in the regular elections to the National Assembly of Armenia, according to Central Election Commission Chairman Vahagn Hovakimyan.
There are 2,503,976 people registered as voters.
According to the Central Election Commission, 58.46% (496,643 people) voted in Yerevan, 61.7% (69,993) in Aragatsotn, 59.87% (131,819) in Ararat, 55.8% (126,302) in Armavir, 54.6% (97,114) in Gegharkunik, 58.59% (124,983) in Lori, 61.66% (146,302) in Kotayk, 55.46% (115,249) in Shirak, 66.67% (71,320) in Syunik, 65.63% (29,293) in Vayots Dzor, and 63.4% (65,579) in Tavush.
It should be noted that in the previous snap elections to the National Assembly of Armenia, held on June 20, 2021, as of 8:00 PM, 49.4%, or 1,281,174 voters out of 2,593,572 eligible voters, had cast their ballots.
