First spacewoman Valentina Tereshkova may visit Armenia

Valentina Tereshkova, the first woman cosmonaut, may travel to Armenia, the press office of the National Assembly of Armenia reported today.
Hermine Naghdalyan, vice-Speaker of the National Assembly, discussed yesterday the matter with Andrey Sorokin, head of the OSCE office in Yerevan.
They also discussed preparations for meetings of Armenian, Russian and Georgian female lawmakers.
Naghdalyan stressed the importance of such meetings and expressed appreciation of Sorokin's assistance in organization of the meeting between Armenian and Georgian MPs in Armenia's Alaverdi in November. -0--
