YEREVAN, December 17. /ARKA/. French President Francois Hollande will visit Armenia in May 2014 at his Armenian counterpart, Serzh Sargsyan's invitation, Novosti-Armenia reports referring to Nouvelles d'Arménie.

Hollande reportedly confirmed his intention as met with Murad Papazyan, Ara Toranyan and Alexis Govciyan, representatives of the Co-ordination Council of Armenian Organizations of France (CCAF).

Hollande ranked highly the council's efforts to preserve Armenian culture.

The CCAF representatives presented the project of the national memorial center and discussed with the French president preparations for marking the 100th anniversary of the 1915 Armenian Genocide in Ottoman Empire. --0---
